In the first Boulder Buddies movie, Roost is in charge of the ticket booth, selling tickets for the Boulderville tour. All tickets become free for the day as Roost gets a promotion from his boss Mr. Johnson. The Boulder Buddies launch into the Boulder Buddies theme song and right away you know this video is different. Roost meets Punky Rock and Matey while on the tour and as they leave the land of ABC’s the alphabet is blown away. Braid has just completed her video shoot of the butterfly song when suddenly an important message comes in from the local news network. Braid explains that the Boulder Buddies need the children’s help because the alphabet has been blown away by heavy winds and they only have until the end of the video to find all the letters of the alphabet. They travel through the lands of shapes, colors, numbers and more in search of the alphabet and receive surprise news updates from Braid in the Boulder Buddies’ news room known as the BBNN. Throughout their tour the audience is surprised with seven music videos that rock!
The characters have their own way about them and you can’t help but love them, and boy can they sing. People would say other movies are geared towards adults with their language and crude humor, but we have given the Boulder Buddies a modern feel with our incredible innovative music, and slap stick clean humor.
